Chance Haakonson

President


Chance joined AutoMethod after a successful 20-year dealership career as a General Manager and Dealer Principal. Prior to working in the automotive industry, he worked as a CPA focusing on retail and manufacturing clients. As President of AutoMethod, Chance is responsible for daily operations and uses his dealership and CPA experience to be a critical resource to Dealer Principals and key management staff. He is responsible for promoting and maintaining dealer wealth, in addition to serving as a resource for day-to-day dealership operations for his clients. Chance believes in a "people first" culture, which he practices with AutoMethod and his clients. He graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a degree in Accounting.  Chance lives in Avon, Minnesota with his wife Teresa. They enjoy traveling and spending time whenever possible with their three adult children.

Kevin Graven

Vice-President 


Kevin founded AutoMethod Corporation with a mission to champion world class development and production for clients. Prior to AutoMethod, Kevin worked several years in variable operations of dealerships, holding positions from Sales Consultant to General Manager. As Vice President of AutoMethod, Kevin is responsible for the development of dealerships’ people, processes, and performance. He is responsible for working with AutoMethod’s team of Account Executives, ensuring the quality of service and results are unparalleled in the industry. Kevin’s development strategy, rooted in substance and principle instead of merely teaching “tips and tricks”, leads to more significant and sustainable success. Kevin is based in Minnesota and lives four miles beyond the middle of nowhere. He and his wife, Wendy, enjoy spending time at the cabin and chasing their two boys around to all their sporting events.

Kayla Taylor

Lead Account Executive


Kayla came to AutoMethod with a very diversified skillset in all facets of dealer operations, with a strong emphasis and passion for developing people.  She has high expectations for results and is consistently searching for ways to strengthen herself and others.  Kayla has been in the automotive industry for over 5 years, specializing in positions within Finance and Management.  Prior to AutoMethod, Kayla had experience in marketing, advertising and sales. As Lead Account Executive, Kayla is responsible for providing continuous training and development for AutoMethod’s Account Executives, as well as our clients.  She works in depth with our clients’ Finance departments providing training and support for their employees, ensuring the processes are leading to a high level of performance within the dealership.  Kayla lives outside of the Kansas City metro area with her husband Jake and their dog (Johnny Cash).  They enjoy traveling and spending their weekends boating and visiting the lake.

Joe Handeland

Account Executive


 Joe joined AutoMethod after working 18 years in the automotive industry.  He started off his career as a Sales Consultant. From there, he spent 11 years working as a Finance and Sales Manager and transitioned into a General Sales Manager.  He was very successful in growing and leading others and producing at a high level.  Joe has a passion for professional growth and developing others to reach their career goals.  As an Account Executive for AutoMethod, Joe is responsible for working with our clients’ Finance departments providing training and support for their employees, ensuring the processes are leading to a high level of performance within the dealership.  Joes lives in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota with his wife Gina and their two beautiful daughters.  They enjoy spending time as a family doing all outdoor activities and getting together with their extended family and friends.

David Miller

Strategic Dealer Development 


 David came to AutoMethod after working 25 years on the retail side of the automotive business.  He started as a Service Advisor at a small Nissan dealership in the Twin Cities and worked his way into the roles of Service Manager, Fixed Operations Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer.  David’s strength is in fixed operations and leadership development. He has embraced the concept of servant leadership and gets his strength from the current leaders and future leaders in an organization.  David understands the numbers on the financial statement are the starting point to discover where people need training and support. He will analyze, strategize, and execute with team. David lives in Champlin, Minnesota with his wife of 29 years.

Lindsey Schleif

Recruiter / Office Manager


Lindsey found her passion for the automotive industry while working over 5 years at a dealership as a Human Resources Manager.  Prior to this, she worked in Human Resources within the sales industry.  As Recruiter/Office Manager of AutoMethod, Lindsey is responsible for recruiting applicants for clients, providing Human Resources support, along with maintaining the daily administrative duties for the company. Lindsey thrives on building connections with others, helping them find their right career path and watching them excel in that position.  She graduated from Saint Cloud State University with a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources and a minor in Communication Studies.  Lindsey lives in Sartell, Minnesota with her husband, Derek, and their three boys. She enjoys spending time with her family and creating memories together.
